Final EMMYS Tally: 1-for 6
Lost lost in its last two categories tonight. Outstanding Directing For A Drama Series went to Alan Taylor for The Sopranos ("Kennedy and Heidi"), while Outstanding Writing For A Drama Series went to David Chase, also for The Sopranos ("Made in the U.S.A."). Lost's nominations in both categories were for the episode "Through the Looking Glass," Jack Bender for directing, and Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof for writing. That makes it 1-for-6 at this year's Emmys for Lost, with Terry O'Quinn taking home the show's only Emmy. (9:16 PM)
Terry O' Quinn WINS the EMMY for Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Drama Series!
Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Drama Series was the second Emmy presented tonight (Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Comedy Series was the first, presented to Jeremy Piven from Entourage), and Terry O'Quinn WON! Congratulations! That makes it 1-for-2 for Lost so far (Michael Emerson was one of those who didn't win in that category). Two more nods... let's see if Lost gets at least one more. (8:17 PM)

Naveen Andrews in THE BRAVE ONE - In Theatres September 14
For Erica Bain (Jodie Foster), the streets of New York are both her home and her livelihood. She shares the sounds and the stories of her beloved city with her radio audience as the host of the show "Street Walk." At night, she goes home to the love of her life, her fiance David Kirmani (Naveen Andrews). But everything Erica knows and loves is ripped from her on one terrible night when she and David are ambushed in a random, vicious attack. Though Erica's broken body heals, deeper wounds remain, a suffocating fear that haunts her every step. The city streets she had once loved to roam, even places that had been warm and familiar, now feel strange and threatening. When the fear finally becomes too much to bear, Erica makes a fateful decision to arm herself against it. The gun in her hand becomes a tangible way to protect herself from an intangible enemy...or so she thinks. The first time she shoots someone, it is kill or be killed. The second time is also in self-defense...or did she make a choice not to take herself out of harm's way? The fear that had once paralyzed her has been replaced by something else...something that drives her to reclaim the life that was taken from her that night...something that Erica does not even recognize in herself. Stories of an anonymous vigilante grip the city, and NYPD detective Sean Mercer (Terrence Howard) becomes increasingly determined to track down the killer. As he pieces together the clues, the evidence begins to point not to a guy with a gun...but a woman with a grudge. With Mercer closing in and her own conscience trying her, Erica must decide whether her quest for some form of justice, and even vengeance, is truly the right path, or if she has become the very thing she is hunting. Come back later this week for a chance to win an official one-sheet of The Brave One. Also, take a look at some hi-res stills from the movie here. (8:12 AM)

Lost on TIME's 100 Best Shows of All-Time List
Lost has been named one of TIME's 100 Best Shows of All-Time... a true honor considering the show's only three seasons old. Here's what TIME has to say about the show: "In a way it's a misnomer to call Lost one of TV's best shows—it's a fine show on the level of character and writing, but what makes it a classic is that it's the finest interactive game ever to appear in your living room once a week. An elaborate fractal pattern of intersecting stories concerning plane survivors on a not-quite-deserted island, a secretive international organization and a monster made of smoke, Lost only begins with the 60 minutes you see on TV. Its mysteries, clues and literary-historical allusions demand research, repeat viewing, freeze-framing and endless online discussions. And in a medium where executives assume that viewers will flee anything that remotely challenges them, Lost proves that millions of people will support a difficult, intelligent, even frustrating story—as long as you blow the right kind of smoke at them."
